Porsche dealer in NY sent me a quote for my 2017 718 boxster for 40k sced. service in the amount of 2750.00 + tax.

Does this seem reasonable?

    I would find a good Indy shop and they can do all this work for about 30-40% less. Your car is out of warranty so it’s not going to make a difference there.

    I got lucky and found a great Indy shop. They know the Porsche platform well and are incredibly reasonable when it comes to maintenance and repairs.

      Yeah I am thinking about that option too. I figured service all in be around $2000.00. The dealership charges 200.00 an hour, so I know a lot of the cost is obviously labor

        I would recommend sourcing all your parts from FCP Euro or Pelican Parts. You can get all OEM parts there and then bring it to your Indy shop. If you buy it from FCP Euro, you can use their lifetime return policy when you go to replace those same parts again. They even take back used oil and give you a refund. Look into it. I’m doing a bad job of explaining it.

        As for my Indy shop, they charge $150/hr. I’m in VA.

    Update: Got a quote from an Indy shop for not much less than the dealership. Quoted $2500.00 including tax
