Always get a PPI on any used car. I see posts every day in this subreddit, “Should I by X Y Porsche with Z miles? Is this a good buy?” We don’t know. we don’t know the history of the car and we are not able to mechanically inspect the vehicle. Only a mechanic can tell you what needs to be spent.
Buy a pre purchase inspection every time and use it as a negotiation tool. The exception is CPO. CPO = Warranty + Inspection.
Buying is one thing but maintaining is another. You’ll easily pay for $400-500 for oil changes and the 20/30k service intervals are minimum $1-2k. For oil + filter + cabin filters + engine air filters + spark plugs was $3,100 with my local dealer. (Went Indy afterwards for a bit cheaper)
