I was looking at some of Fred Taylor’s career statistics and I found these two to be very impressive:

1. Fred Taylor is 17th All-Time on the Rushing Yards Career Leaders list and he averaged 4.6 rushing yards per attempt. Only 2 of the 16 players ahead of him on that list had a higher average. Barry Sanders (5.0) & Jim Brown (5.2).
2. Fred Taylor only fumbled the ball 27 times during his career. The lowest out of anyone ahead of him on that list. In fact, out of all running backs who rushed for at least 10,000 yards, he ranks number 4 behind Steven Jackson (23), LeSean McCoy (25) & Warrick Dunn (26).
