That’s a massive lose-lose situation. Because the only way for you to fuck with the data, is to flag everything as “made with AI”. But that means you have to be on linkedIn and flag a bunch of posts.

On LinkedIn, it’s likely to be particularly difficult to identify slop because most of what users post there is completely devoid of substance anyway:

Excited to announce our synergistic paradigm shift—an AI-powered initiative driving scalable impact through agile innovation, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven transformation.

This isn’t just a strategy. It’s a mindset. A movement. A fully integrated operating model for the future of work.

    That kind of bullshit

This is genuinely how I spot AI writing. Does it sound like it’ll fit right in on LinkedIn? If yes, then AI

LinkedIn is one of the few places on the internet that feels basically the same even when filled with AI slop

I’ve flagged a lot of AI posts, but there doesn’t seem to be any reduction in slop on that horrible site.

I’m fully convinced it’s just for them to feed into their slop generators to make more convincing slop once they get more data

Even if not and each click generates warning or pushes shit down in feed the end effect will be the same because posters will use it like that.

Oh you sweet sweet summer child. You’re not helping them reduce the slop. You’re helping them selling the data to companies to improve it.

I’m sorry, but if you’re flagging AI posts on the LITERAL AI chatting platform (humans are the minority) - then you rather leave the site entirely.

There is no chance unslopifying slop if the whole feature of the site is slop.
