Hate to say it but every time I watch them I just think about how cool it would be to have a defense that brings a lot of pressure from all over…even the last stunt the bears run was more exotic than we get

Something that baffles is every game I watch, each team has at least a few plays a game where a CB comes in or there’s some twist or a LB blitz or something where someone just come ripping through. The Lions never seem make those plays. There was even a game in the GB game where Anzalone came on a late blitz…it seemed like everyone was engaged and there was a hole in the middle of the line and yet somehow he got swallowed up in the middle of the line. I feel like any other team, that LB gets a free run to the QB. There’s just some x-factor that either we can’t scheme or can’t execute or both. I have no idea what the solution is but it’s incredibly frustrating to watch all these teams, even mid or poor teams, that at least a few times a game generate significant pressure. It really defies all explanation, and I feel like at this point we’re past the “we’ll figure it out” stage. If they haven’t, they won’t.
