I like to play this baseball game, MLB 2K12 on my DS Lite. However, the R button stopped working which eliminates one of the pitches for some pitchers and returning the baserunners. It also makes menu navigation difficult. The shoulder buttons on my 3DS work perfectly fine, so I wanted to use that. I tried to turn it on but kept getting a blue light that flashes with nothing on the screen. The system does not make a popping noise, so I know it is not a hardware issue. I tried for hours to fix it, but couldn’t no matter how many tutorials I followed to unbrick it. So I thought I could maybe just force-boot into DS mode without going through the 3DS menu, is this possible?
