I wanted to share with you same tools that has worked wonders for me in maximizing my focus and productivity. It’s all about managing your schedules and tasks in a way that aligns with your mindset and energy/dopamine levels. And id love to hear more tips. And if people find this helpful, i can make a part two. In my XX-years as a entrepreneur i’ve been optimizing a lot.
-
Categorize your schedules: Divide your schedules into three categories - Think, Create, and Stationary. Customize your tasks based on these categories, giving each a specific purpose and priority.
-
Prioritize according to mindset: Assess your current state and choose the corresponding category to focus on. If you’re feeling creative and ideas are flowing, it’s a perfect time for the Create category. If you’re in a contemplative mood, deep thinking moments under the Think category would work best. And during times when you’re feeling a bit lazy or unfocused, tackle the boring or preparatory tasks in the Stationary category to keep the momentum going.
-
Delegate to thrive: Don’t be afraid to delegate tasks that you struggle with, even if they seem easy. Hiring a virtual assistant (VA) can be a game-changer, allowing you time to focus on what you excel at and enjoy.
-
Roll with the pressure: Interestingly, ADHD and planning can go hand in hand. Embrace the pressure and responsibilities as they tend to enhance performance. The more you take on, the more in tune you become with your tasks.
-
Incorporate off-day blocks: Give yourself a well-deserved break to release peak pressure. Allocate a 4-hour block where you can do “nothing/fuck-all” or engage in activities that recharge your batteries.
-
Using reddit as a mood booster, hear me out: If i have a lot of problems to solve, i’m getting my mind ready with… solving problems or giving suggestions on Reddit. It helps with the mindset.

Remember, self-care is essential for long-term success.I’ve personally experienced the benefits of this approach, and it’s been a game-changer in my entrepreneurial journey. By understanding and adapting to my own productivity patterns, I’ve been able to achieve good enough results while managing my ADHD.
