Jimmy Butler missed yesterday’s game due to “rest”. It looks like there’s a possibility Embiid sits today, also due to “rest”. There’s no injury listed on the injury report either. It literally just says “rest”. How is that acceptable, especially after the NBA made a big stink about making players play this season? They’ve played TWO GAMES so far. If there’s an injury, don’t play, but I find it extra insulting, as a fan, that these guys are being so blatant about it. Rest? I’d love to call out if work and be able to give that excuse. Imagine being a fan going to either game. It’s the Philly home opener, too!
