FIRST: I know it would hurt to see clarkson go. But I think it would be awesome to put him in a situation to compete for a ring :)

WHY the jazz do it: I do not get sitting the 9th pick while playing 4 guards off the bench. Maybe Will Hardy is trying to up value of some of the players or figure out which he likes the best, but i do not think it can go on for long or should be playing them all together

Jazz are 30th in defensive efficiency and 30th in points given up per game. That should not be happening when you have Walker, Lauri, Collins, and Kelly(and hendricks)

The jazz get a clear cut great player in Quickley, and free up a guard spot bc you won’t play fournier.

You’re also moving out 2 vets for a younger player for the jazz timeline.

Keyonte-Sexton-tht Ochai-Quickley Lauri-Hendricks/ochai Collins-Kelly/hendricks Walker-kelly

Think this rotation is better now AND in the long run

WHY it makes sense for the knicks: Knicks didn’t extend Quickley by the deadline and have 95% of their cap space on 3+ year deals. Won’t have enough space to give quickley he deserves. Get rid of an awful contract in fournier and get back a bet that can really help them contend for a title

Maybe there would need to be a pick or something involved but think the idea is good:)

I personally would love to see THT and Sexton go as a package for a pick this year. We have no first rounders this year and I think we are going to desperately need one…

I think Knicks would go for it because then they don’t have to worry about paying Quickley, and they get off Fournier’s salary.

If we could do it without Dunn, I’d maybe consider it tbh. Dunn has struggled a bit in the first three games, but he’s a locker room guy and defender I’d like to keep if we can.
