I know everyone is frustrated and rightfully so, but if there is anyone on this team that deserves benefit of the doubt it’s the proven Kawhi Leonard. Just like last season he started slow then put out one of his best offensive performances in the season. Just give him time would rather have him peak later than now.

No u should be worried about Kawhi. The “he starts the season slow” thing only happened last year because he came off an acl surgery and said himself he didn’t feel 100% at the start of the season. He said himself the meniscus was very light compared to acl rehab so this notion that he’s taking it easy while we’re sub 500 is such cope. His blow by ability is cooked, he has no rim pressure and therefore his isolation scoring is laboured. If Kawhi was still Kawhi, we’d have 2-3 more wins by now. Lebron, KD, Tatum, they’ll takeover games when things aren’t going well, haven’t seen Kawhi takeover one game this season.
What worries me about Kawhi is hes played all the games so far I do feel we have to take the burden off of him with guys like PG, Harden, Russ, Powell scoring more but again he just doesnt look the same its hard to explain I dont see the same lift I saw at the start of the 2023 year for last season maybe it’ll come then but idk we’ll see.
I know what you mean regarding lift. I do think he is purposely conserving himself though. I’ve been a big fan of Kawhi since his spurs days and I swear every single year I wonder if he’s kinda done but then he always rounds into form and becomes a beast during the playoffs (when playing). I pray that it will be the case again this year
