Alright, we’re 10+ games into the Harden trade.

We got our ass whooped by the defending champion’s BENCH. And Tlue still has the balls to keep Harden in when he fumbles it twice during the 4th. Like wtf. You expect all the players to drop their ego and sacrifice? How about you drop your ego to cater towards them and BENCH them when the game calls for it. How about recognizing the fact that pace is an issue and when PG/Kawhi/Harden get cold then you have to ditch your lineup and tell them to DRIVE to the paint instead of settling for jumpers.

Also he deserves no credit for us going 4/5 recently. PG doing the best he can making tough shot after tough shot. Pure skill by PG. Then Russ giving up his starting position so Harden can be comfortable. Kawhi still finding his rhythm but settling for jumpers. Lots of ISO and dribbling. Younger teams blowing past us because we’re older. Wins are wins, but not convincing blowouts like beginning of the season. Very little adjustments from Tlue. Not sustainable. This is how you become a sub par .500 team where your team is run by the players, not by a system.

I think the whole team is caught up in this mental fog because too many players are capable of scoring 26+ in any given night. They still have not gotten over that hump. Very obvious things aren’t working. We need a new coach. Someone who can call any player out and tell them they’re playing like shit. Because Ty Lue is not holding anyone accountable and most importantly, he’s not holding himself accountable to helping this team get better.

Also our offense needs to change. We need more cutting and paint penetration. The slow pace that Harden brings is great when he’s in rhythm but bad overall for rest of the team. When shots don’t fall, it get ugly fast because ball isn’t moving much. Seeing not as many open looks for PG/Kawhi lately. Offense sometimes is literally ball hand-off at top of the key to iso. And Ty Lue can’t draw up a play to save his own life.

Okay, I’m done with my rant for then night. This loss left me pretty sour.
