I am looking forward to purchase this monitor: Lg Ultragear 32gr93u-b and connect it to my laptop: Pavilion 16-a0029nw. However, the monitor doesn`t have an USB-C port, also my laptop`s HDMI port is only 2.0, not 2.1, and I would like to have144 Hz screen.

Is it possible to connect the two and have the best settings? (4k and 144 Hz?)

Will the adapter USB-C to HDMI/DisplayPort work? If so, what would be the best way to connect it, HDMI or DisplayPort?

Also, please advice, will the USB Hubs work? I see it this way: I connect USB Hub with DisplayPort/HDMI port to my laptop with an USB-C Cable. Then monitor with HDMI or DisplayPort to the USB Hub. Is is legit? In this configuration, will USB receivers from wireless mouse and keyboard work on USB Hub? (as in work on laptop).

Please, advise.
