Has anyone watched the Saints much? What do we need to look out for? Is Derek Carr still hurt? How’s their D and coach?

It’s a homecoming for many Lions: MCDC, AG, Anzalone, Ceedy Deuce. We get to see Jamaal Williams.

Marshon Lattimore, probably their best defensive player just went on IR. Cam Jordan was hurt on Sunday too.

The Saints are a below average team that has played a lot of terrible teams

They won’t embarrass themselves, but they are not good

They are functional enough to take advantage of other teams errors, so if the Lions have more unforced turnovers or blown coverages, they can certainly win

They are a struggling offense that is now decimated with injuries. Their Defense is OK, but picks on bad teams (sounds familiar …). Top CB also just put on IR.

If our Oline can return to form and Goff stops committing turnovers, this should be a dominant win.

If we can’t beat the Saints, it would be a huge red flag.

Outside of Ridder and Young, he will be the worst QB we have faced. He is not a play maker, not extremely mobile, and is bad in the red zone.

Saints have a lot of injuries on both sides of the ball to key players, and just gave up 300 on the ground to the Falcons who we completely shut down on the ground.

I expect this to be a run heavy game and we win in a similar fashion to how we beat the Falcons, like 20-6.

Business trip. Get the win and get out.
