I think that eventually 100% of the posts on LinkedIn will mention AI. It’s already about 85%. Every time I see one, I hit “Not interested” and it does no good.

I had to delete mine several times. It used to be that every time you clicked on a link to there with a browser with a valid log in session, that counted as you “logging in”, canceling the account deletion process.

There’s even an option in the overflow menu labelled “Seems like AI slop”.

I’m struggling with who that’s there for, or how egregious the slop needs to be to warrant its use. Damn near the entire site (text and images both) feels pretty slop-tastic, if I report it all what’s even going to be left?

I wouldn’t be surprised if these are all scripted to promote AI and ingrain it in the workplace.

I used to report them, but it’s impossible to combat that garbage. LinkedIn heavily promotes AI lunatics and I gave up. Maybe I should use AI to fight AI spam?
