The closest we’ve been to being seriously beat was the Minnesota game, but I don’t think anyone felt bad about that since Embiid wasn’t playing and it was a b2b. We haven’t been spanked like the lakers have tonight. The big-4 clippers just lost to the nuggets WITHOUT jokic and murray, letting DEANDRE JORDAN SCORE 22.

We have only lost to playoff teams, and besides the minnesota loss without embiid, we have been in every game that we lost. The worst feeling game was the celtics loss, but we had them within 5 in under 3 minutes left, we were in that game for pretty much the entire time. Even the Celtics have gotten spanked by the magic, and lost to the hornets, worse losses than we have had this season. Bucks have lost bad by near 20 to mid teams in the hawks and raptors.

All of this is reflected in our net rating, which is now the highest in the league after tonight (8.8).

HUGE difference from the doc rivers years. Comparing to last year through the first 17 games, we had FOUR disgusting embarrassing losses by this point in the season, worse imo than any of the losses we’ve had this season so far. I felt like i was pulling hair out last season, but this season, even when they do lose (and we will lose games over an 82 game season), I haven’t felt bad or truly negadelphian yet.

And so, our losses are even more telling than our wins imo. A team with Embiid is always gonna win games, but there is no reason we should have been losing them like we were last year, the extra effort this year is extremely noticeable. Almost everyone on the team looks like they have something to prove.

If we have to play Boston in the playoffs, I hope it’s at least in the ECF this time. I agree in that I think we can beat anyone else in the second round at least.
