I get we’re only a month into the season, but do we think the Rockets should maybe shop around during the trade deadline? The team has played great and the young pieces we have are proven to be stars very soon in their careers. It wouldn’t hurt though to see an available superstar join our team and possibly complete the quest for our season.
I’d also kick the tires on Daniel Gafford from the Wizards. Would be a nice rim protecting big to put on in minutes without Sengun. He also just started a 3/$40mil contract which is good value for the next couple of years, so it’s not just a rental.
Kelly would also be a good pick-up as a solid passing big to put in place instead of Sengun though.
