Looking at the ESPN top 100 NBA players (not a great list but a useable reference) there is only 1 player in the top 37 that I think the Sixers could realistically add this year or in the off-season… Pascal Siakam. Not a Superstar and not a perfect fit but maybe the only guy.
So… I ask, out of all of these players, if you could lose Harden and add 1 player, who would it be? And does adding that player actually get the Sixers to the level of the Bucks or Celtics?

Some of those names are more realistic than others…. But who on that list would raise the Sixers ceiling the most? Is there someone not on that list that raises the ceiling more?
Best possible scenario is Kawhi or Paul George opting out and then signing with the Sixers and then staying healthy… but that scenario is close to impossible.
