When James was asked how a team should respond to a blowout like the Lakers suffered in Philadelphia, he offered a personal admission instead of any group instruction.

“I don’t know how a team [should],” he said. “I can only speak for myself. … I don’t like it.”

LeBron is going to be fine when it matters, what concerns me is the fact I absolutely share the perception “there was a shared sentiment that what L.A. mustered Monday was simply not good enough”.

When we lost to Denver it was clear for me we needed another starting PG and a backup C able to anchor the defense and Pelinka didn’t address that and my perception hasn’t changed.

Another thing I’m pointing since the off season is the fact Pelinka didn’t sign a replacement for Beasley/Lonnie and I hear “but those guys barely played”. I’m not telling we need a replacement for the “no show” Beasley or Lonnie, I’m telling what those guys represent in terms of production when they are at their best, a quick scoring punch of the bench and I don’t think Reaves is this type of player.
