Just consider this a post-game review. I took a break from this team and went on a pretty big rant at the peak of that 6 game losing streak, and it seems this team is still dealing with the exact issues I talked about before.

I remember being told how I was “overreacting”, “fake fan”, “fucking idiot”, and a “fair-weather fan”. My favorite one was people telling me not to let the door hit my ass on the way out when I basically said I needed a break, I check back in and what do I see? Fans in the crowd feuding with Westbrook, Ty Lue complaining about how slow and methodical the offense has become (I wonder why that is), trade requests and anger filling this subreddit along with finger pointing between player fanbases and the glaring defensive issues that got exasperated after the trade. Losing to the nuggets without their core guys and letting Reggie Jackson outplay everyone is really bad and it starts with these nasty turnovers. Harden does good things, but I think the bad outweighs the good when considering what he’s supposed to be providing for this team, and what we gave up to get him. He gets hunted on defense, slows the offensive pace, isn’t aggressive enough, and is also a turnover machine. I’d unironically have Russ start over harden to fix the pacing issue (this isn’t a knee jerk reaction either, genuinely just an opinion I have) and play Bones Hyland some minutes instead of making him rot on the bench with DNP’S.

Rough situation all around, the FO really screwed up a well constructed team to chase an unnecessary upgrade at point guard. Something’s gotta change man. Losing to the grizzlies and now the Jokicless Nuggets. The inconsistencies is what gets me. 🤦🏿‍♂️
