Bloody Beaker folk. Coming over here, rowing up the Tagus Estuary from the Iberian Peninsula in improvised rafts. Coming here with their drinking vessels. What’s wrong with just cupping up the water in your hands and licking it up like a cat?

I’ve been hooked on this guy since the radio series of Fist of Fun, with Stuart Lee’s True Fables. This man has been a comedy genius for his entire career.

I find him funny but maybe his style isn’t for everyone. Like when he repeats things a lot. I guess I’m okay with that because maybe the repetition shows how absurd a situation is. But some people might not like that.

I’ve been watching him since Fist Of Fun, I’m a big fan of his writing and the on stage character.

Very intelligent, has a great way of thinking oustide the box and making commonly helt positions feel bizzare.

That being said I have to be in the mood for his type of humor, it’s certainly not always on for me. I can put my finger on it but theres something jarring about his style it is a bit droning, for me, at least (unrelatedly I have a simlilar feeling with Dara O’Brien, but in a totally different way).

But when he has a topic he’s really passionate about he’s the greatest out there. There needs to be vitriol.
