Fairphone is trying to do good things, but this article misses the point of at least the title.
Open source drivers for the hardware are the critical key to reducing e-waste. Fair phone just has a slightly larger window than other companies, but they’re still creating e-waste. With open drivers, those devices could last forever, just like 486 linux machines are still on the internet.
First of all, it has a jack.
What a shit biased article.
It’s the BBC. They’ve always been biased but always pretend to be Independent, like most media sources.
