I own a Minecraft server that me and my friends go on a daily basis but there was a (Backup button) that saves the world on the server but got me questioning more on it.
Do you think it is a good idea to get a backup & offsite backup (E.G Onedrive/Google Drive) as this is a old world me and my friends used to play for couple years +

I do weekly backups on sundays that I keep the most recent 4 of. The backup that i do the Sunday after the 1st I upload to a cloud storage account and replace the previous month’s
Between these I’ll never lose a world
