I’m looking for a version to play to get that feeling of nostalgia back a little. That feeling of just playing the game without stress, without building ginormous buildings just to keep yourself entertained.

I started playing in 1.8.9 and I never experienced anything below 1.8.9 outside of modded 1.7.10. Personally I’d like to play 1.7.10, but I want to know what your favourite version of Minecraft is.

    I just played for a very short moment and no matter how big the nostalgia I get from the old 1.7.10 or 1.8.9 with the music, I will enjoy the newer versions more since there is just so much more to do and so many quality of life improvements.

    So if I want to play an older version, it’s got to be 1.8.9. 1.4.7 had, in the small amount of time I played it, some annoyances. 1.7.10 doesn’t do it for me, probably because I only played it modded and it doesn’t feel as refined. 1.8.9 hit closer to home and feels the most comfortable.
