Teddy, he’s the only QB who sucks and Vikings fans still love him

Maybe Darnold at the right price? IIRC, he looked good in camp for the 49ers, and the 49ers run a pretty similar offense to what we run.

I think if we could get him for a 3rd or less it’s worth considering. Not sure the 49ers would be willing to part with him for that little, though, unless they really like Allen as a backup.

It’s more likely we go out and get someone like Wentz to kick the tires on for a few weeks until Mullens is ready to come back from IR, and Mullens or the vet we sign take over for Hall if Hall struggles.

100% want to see what Jaren Hall can do rest of the year.

• Jaren has had half a season watching Kirk cook and learning the offense.

• Instead of pushing it off into the future and signing an outside QB to finish the season, let’s see half a season of what he can do to get a true sense of what he can do for us.

• If things go incredibly poorly, draft position improves and we have a lot of cap space in the future by not signing an outside QB.

• If things go incredibly well, we potentially make a run and see how far this team can go based off of its in locker room chemistry and talent, and we still have cap space for the future.

• These guys clearly believe in each other and have every belief that who they have in that locker room can help them achieve their goals even if everyone on the outside thinks they’re a shit team. It’s something great about what KOC has cultivated.

• Jaren has the ability to pick up the mantle and for himself personally, can set up years of playing in the NFL, hopefully with the Vikings should he do well enough. And he can make this season a memorable one by finishing what Kirk started.

We have Nick Mullens coming off IR hopefully soon who is probably at the level of most of these guys. Ride with Hall, if that doesn’t work then put Mullens in.
