Professional teams lose. Sometimes worse than others. Yes that PHX game was winnable, but that’s just how sports works, or you’d get rich just betting on the better team every single game.
The Clips with not one not two but THREE bona fide superstars (and not semi superstars like LaVine) playing 35+ minutes each and still lost to the super team headlined by Knicks legend DeAndre Jordan, Knicks legend Justin Holiday, and random scrubs like KCP and Reggie Jackson.
We’re fine and we don’t need to trade every single guy who played bad after every L. Just relax.
I mean, championship teams aren’t typically built overnight. Our roster is young and scrappy and that’s okay. The foundations are built and if we can swing the superstar trade in the next 2-3 years we gon be alright.
You see, I don’t subscribe to the needing a superstar talk. The heat showed us last year that a well coached team mixed with scrappy players that are willing to buy in can get you to the finals. Jimmy was on fire last year but imo he’s not a superstar, he just has superstar like moments every now and then. Jalen was doing that for us last year and also we were one of the youngest teams in the playoffs. We just gotta continue to build as a team. My fear is that we are going to lose the fabric of these team by gutting it for a superstar. To many fans just listen to what beat writers say instead of watching and learning the game.
