A huge point is dealerships. Nobody wants to deal with a sleazy car salesman that is trying to get as much commission off of every sale. Just go online, and you can buy a car. Easy. No markups, no “premium air in tire” charge…

Test drove a Model Y yesterday. Very quick and the screen was intuitive, handling and suspension were decent, but the build quality, especially on the interior, was pretty cheap in my opinion

Tesla has 3 things going for it that are awesome

    1. they’re affordable now. Especially with the tax credit.

    2. their charging network is top tier. My uncle takes his car up and down the east coast all the time and has no issues.

    3. No dealers! My aunt wanted to surprise him at his retirement party and she ordered one online in about in about 20 minutes. Had the full price with no BS markups too.

Maybe because they’re the most affordable without comprises to the battery tech and have a robust charging station? A Model 3 with tax incentives easily hits low 30k, while I’m not crazy about Tesla built quality that’s really compelling.

Every other legacy manufacturers are making compromised cars at that price point and you have to go up to their 60k+ blobs to get somewhere.
