Good morning Steelers Nation, I’m attending my very first NFL football game this Sunday. I’m semi familiar with the stadium area of Pittsburgh, we went to a preseason game last year. Mainly I need advice for where to park.

We’re driving in the Saturday before. We’re staying at the Hampton Inn off of 579. I’m wondering if there is easy accessible parking near the stadium or general advice on where to go. Would it make sense to go really early in the morning and just hangout in the area? Any advice is well appreciated.

Side note: do they sell jerseys at the stadium and if so, are they pretty expensive? I want to get my dad a Joey Porter Jr. jersey for Christmas. He’s a huge Penn State fan and JPJ is our first lockdown CB since Rod Woodson /s.

Go Steelers!

TBH parking farther away and walking is way better. I got super fancy tickets to the Ravens game earlier this year which came with a parking pass for Gold Lot 1A, which is the lot closest to the stadium, like right next to the players parking. Driving into the lot was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had; the density of people just gets worse and worse the closer we got. We didn’t even try to leave after the game, knew we’d have to wait a good 45-60 minutes to even attempt to exit.

Yeah we went to a preseason game last year and parked in Gold Lot. I was stuck at the fucking light on the corner by the train station for 45 minutes
