TL;DR Add healing to Q just like in TFT + add mana regen/HSP scallings to buff support seraphine
I wanted to discuss Seraphine’s recent situation with the ongoing adjustments maelstorm. Confirmed by riot Seraphine is going to get a large kit update soon, but no details were given at the moment. It’s easy to guess the kit update’s primary goal is to buff support Seraphine and make her more viable as it’s her most popular role by a huge margin since it was their intetion with the previous set of changes.
I’m not really a TFT player but I played a game with friends and noticed that Seraphine got added and that her Q additionally heals allies caught within the radius. I think that’s an excellent buff idea for the kit update. Adding healing to Seraphine’s Q ability could enhance her supportive role by providing additional sustain for her allies. This change would align her kit more closely with traditional enchanter supports who often have healing abilities to bolster their team’s durability. The healing on Q could create opportunities for strategic plays, allowing Seraphine to contribute not only through crowd control and poke damage, but also by actively sustaining her teammates during engagements. This adjustment could make her a more well-rounded enchanter support, fostering a supportive playstyle that revolves around both healing and utility. Seraphine’s healing got already hard nerfed with the previous adjustments and I firmly beliebe that relocating the healing power to her Q could really benefit her.
It’s worth noting that Q is by far the least useful ability support Seraphine has to offer. It’s a neglibile poke that falls off quickly, disrupts waves or secures kills way too efficiently. Adding healing to her Q would add an immense use case for Support seraphine as well as letting her interact with enchanter items without huge cooldown restrictions - similarily to other enchanters.
I also think that by adding some unorthodox scallings like mana regen or the need to scale of off heal and shield power would make it easier to balance support Seraphine without being scared of already overperfoming APC reaping the benefit of the buffs.
