I’d say yes. Why risk injury playing in a system that will be gone after January 7th. It’s just meaningless reps, let him carry a clip board and let his S2 brain absorb as much as possible…hire the new staff and press the reset button.

Need to guard against an injury down the stretch that will take away from his offseason work or worst case (Kyler Murray) eats up half of a season.

I’d lean to yes myself let him sit the next few games build confidence back let the interm regime build a playbook around his skills let him have maybe a mini camp during season for the next 2 or 3 games then implement Byrce and his offense back onto field for the last 2 weeks 17 & 18.

I was hoping they’d take the wait and see approach at beginning of the season just to protect the guy and get him bigger and stronger for next year guarantee, if dalton started most this season we not 1-10 RN. Maybe 4-7 or sum em like that 3-8 but bears wouldn’t be receiving the #1 pick from us. They still have a chance if they make the move now.

Give him the next two games with these changes. Then if nothing improves I’d sit him because the damage is well and truly done and we’d have seen enough

My superflex dynasty league that’s scratching and clawing for the last playoff spot says you can fuck right off with this idea
