Browns faced a dismal loss to the Broncos on Sunday while losing DTR, Myles Garrett, and Amari Cooper in the process. With PJ Walker stepping in at the end, drives immediately died and seemingly secured Denver’s victory. After losing Deshaun Watson two weeks ago, the team has struggled to stay afloat. Let’s review some of the notable players fpts this past week:
DTR - 11.46 Cooper - 3.6 (albeit, shadowed by Surtain) Moore - 5.4 Ford - 11.9 (third straight game scoring 11.9) Hunt - 2.2 Njoku - 11.9 DST - 5.0 Hopkins - 6.0
Ford and Njoku were the only viable plays this week. Njoku had some pretty detrimental drops that game, but it seems that his volume can make up for his bad plays. Ford had a decent game for not scoring a TD, but let’s not forget the week before where he scored a TD on the first drive and was pulled from the rest of the game. He seems to be purely flexworthy.
How do we feel about the Browns in week 13 against the Rams? If Flacco is behind the ball while DTR is still in concussion protocol?
The Broncos defense has been great in recent weeks, so I wouldn’t judge the Browns’ performance in that game too harshly.
There certainly aren’t any must-starts, but Ford, Njoku, and Cooper (pending health) are all options.
