Is there any shot he wins it at this point? The media glazes Myles (warranted) and Micah (not as much warranted) so hard that TJ’s name hardly comes up in these discussions, so I’m curious if he’ll even be considered as a serious candidate for the award after the regular season, no matter what he does from here on out

I saw the betting favorites to win DPOY before thanksgiving football started this week and it went something along the lines of

    1. Myles Garrett
    2. Micah Parsons
    3. TJ Watt
    4. Daron Bland
    5. Danielle Hunter

I think Micah will be a real threat to TJ for DPOY since he hasn’t got his yet.

If you went out there and threw 5 passes into the ground with no completions, you’d have a higher rating than if you targeted Bland.

    My dpoy race is:

    1. Bland
    2. TJ
    3. Myles

I mean statistically TJ is performing just the same on the rushing aspect as Myles but TJ has a touchdown and drops into coverage. I think it’s deserved for either TJ, Garrett, or Bland at this point but hype is bigger for the two that aren’t named TJ.
