Greetings, everyone. This situation keeps happening to me over and over again, almost every 2-3 months. I enter a massive losing streak, and no matter what I do, I can’t win a match. It’s evident from the start that we are the weaker team. Players are more toxic and worse, as if they don’t belong to this rank. Whatever I do, I end up losing the game.

I’ve tried changing positions, switching to support, and lost 10 in a row. I consistently get unrealistically bad teammates. I’m not saying I don’t make mistakes, but these glaring and noticeable mistakes, I don’t make at least at this rank. I was Legend 1 at 3000 MMR two days ago, and now I’m Archon 2 at 2400 MMR.

I’m just wondering why I experience these loss streaks every two months. I raise my rank by about 2-3 stars and lose it all in three days. To me, this seems like a completely rigged system that pushes you down just to keep you playing. However, these things emotionally destroy me, and every time I’m on the verge of quitting this game. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful game, but I genuinely don’t understand why this happens and why it’s programmed to be this way.

What should I do to break these loss streaks? I’ve tried not playing and taking breaks for a day or two, but it’s simply impossible. My game hasn’t even started, and a loss is guaranteed. I’m currently at 27 lost games and only 4 won.

The funniest part is that suddenly everything will turn around, and I’ll start crushing opponents for 10 games in a row. But that’s not the point. The point is for someone to explain to me why this system is rigged, why all of this is happening, and why.

In my opinion, this needs to change urgently because it ruins a lot, and it simply drives players away from the game.

“Man flips coins hundreds of times, gets upset when he flips tails 10 times in a row”.

Smaller streaks are a natural part of matchmaking and it’s not uncommon to see them in one direction or another (often paired with a short opposite streak in the other direction as you oscillate around your “true” MMR). On top of that they are often made worse by players tilting easier when on loose streaks and being more willing to stick things out while on win streaks.

Remember that breaks only help if you take that time to actually let go and come back to the game fresh. They don’t help at all if at the end you still believe that your next game is already lost before you queue.

One way to help overcome this is to focus on personal metrics rather than whether you actually win or lose. For example as a support player the thing I usually care most about is how the laning stage went. If we had a great laning stage then I know that I did a fairly decent job, even if we later went on to lose. For cores this could be something like farm levels, but find something like that and focus on it.

It can also help to look at games that you are losing as good practice opportunities. After all of you are already being stomped what’s the worst that can happen? They stomp you more? So they can be great opportunities to practice mechanics without pressure.

I can just say 1 thing don’t tilt queue. Imagine you’re already at ur worst mental and you still ended up matching with the same people only to lose again. Getting from legend 1 to archon 2 in 2 days is a big sign ur tilt queuing.

I know its hard but tilt queuing is just really bad that you often blame everything else if things doesn’t go ur way.

My friend, that is called “hitting a wall”, which means you are not good enough to climb consistently, you try your best and go up 200-300 MMR, then find yourself in games you are too bad to win and lose all of it back, then you go back up to then lose it all, a “forced” 50%.

The system isn’t rigged, it never was and it never will, get some coaching and you’ll see why I say so, untill then there’s nothing we can do to break your delusion, just have faith in what I say, if you need a reason to: I got to Immortal trough this “RIGGED” system.

THIS is Ogreboy’s free coaching discord server, there are countless of coaches and they are all super friendly, they even have super high MMR coaches for the few Divine/Immortal players that ask for coaching, ALL FOR FREE.

There’s literally no excuse not to try it

Your brain will want to say “But I’m sure my mistakes are not enough to lose games and I should still win”, if that’s the case, stop listening to your brain, it’s malfunctioning a bit.
