Hi all! I’ve finally settled on a name for the business I’m working on launching. After thorough research, I’ve confirmed that there are currently no active trademarks associated with this name. However, I did come across a business in the same industry on social media (Facebook and Instragram) that shares the same name. They haven’t been active on social media since early 2019, and their website is no longer operational. They also are not registered with the secretary of state office that their business was operating in when it was operational. Will this still cause issues for the trademark process?
