He would probably look better but what’s the point? Mitch has been in the league for 7 years almost, he has the same issues with Canada that he did with Nagy and Fox in Chicago. He still favors one side of the field, is a bad decision maker, turnover prone, and has bad pocket awareness.
He is a career backup at this point. I just think it’s irrational to believe that Trubisky has some magical ceiling he hasn’t reached yet despite plenty of evidence pointing to the contrary. It’s exactly what Bears fans did when he played for them and what they’re doing now with Fields. At least Pickett is only in his 2nd year and even he is a question mark despite that.
