Ugh… so I have a dead pixel on the bottom right hand corner of my LE 1 TB BoE Panel Deck… Just sent a message to Valve to get an RMA started… What I don’t understand is why they used a BOE panel on the LE models, but Samsung on the normal models. Why not just have them all have the same Panel? Samsung is a trustworthy panel manufacturer, should have just stuck with them for all of the models.
Same time am hearing about really bad mura effects on samsung panels but same time yeah I don’t wanna deal with yoyo of RMA and months of being without what I paid alot for… I really hope some QA goes into the RMA to ensure they aren’t sending out decks with super blatant dead pixels.
Just got mine today, its 1 dead blue sub pixel to right, and 1 what I thought was just red in middle but its every color except blue. and it glows weird and green during like any grayscale and most stuff like orange etc.
holding deck at normal distance its impossible not to see, even if I didn’t look for it, looks like a super weird glowing spot of dust or black dust on screen all the time.
