I recently got a Corsair CX 750M PSU to replace my old EVGA PSU. It clearly supplies power to the motherboard due to the RGB lights coming on, but my PC refuses to start up.
Attempts to fix- I have replaced the new Corsair PSU with the old EVGA PSU, and everything turned on properly and I had no issues doing anything. And yes, I am using the cables that come with both and not interchanging them.
I have tested the Corsair PSU with the paper clip test, and it runs perfectly fine, so obviously it’s not a PSU issue.
I have removed the battery from the MOBO to clear the CMOS to no effect. I’m at a loss.
I’ve read that it could be a BIOS issue, but surely that shouldn’t be the case as I have a ROG BIOS from 2022 running right now, so it’s certainly not out of date. Any advice?
