Retro Game Corps mentioned in his review that there might be some gains in PS3 performance on the OLED over the LCD model but I haven’t heard or read anything since he mentioned that.

Has anyone noticed any gains on the OLED?

NCAA 14 was really close to running smooth at 30 FPS on the LCD so a little bit of gain might get it there.

    Yes, I’ve been playing MGS4 on the OLED and it runs smoother with less crashes than with the LCD

      Yeah, I’ll send a video of it playing the full cut scene and a little bit of game play. I’ll upload to YouTube in a bit and send you a link. Also, I’m using the canary patch on metal gear.
