Idc about the genre, I just like games in general that allows you to create your own levels/maps and share it with other players around the world.

Doom 2016. I build a full on xp/leveling system complete with functional menu.
Timespliters future perfect was also incredible, but good f’ing luck with that.

It predates online gameplay, but the Timesplitters games had an awesome map editor. A shame those maps took up so much space on the memory card.
Also predating the internet, but the park editors in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games kicked ass too.
