Title basically. I’m pretty faded and was thinking to myself if I’m mentally ready to rewatch the NFCCG highlights vs eagles. Then I’m thinking well I haven’t even revisited the SB loss vs KC. Then thought to myself again, well I haven’t even seen the one vs the Ravens.
I can’t watch the lost super bowls or nfc playoff losses.
Nope. Why torture yourself?
Once we win a Chip, I look forward to rewatching all of the big losses with the understanding that it was all worth it in the end
I only rewatch losing games once just to see if they were miscues or concerning issues.
The other big games we’ve lost I can rewatch if they happen to be on TV but I don’t seek out any past losses to watch. I notice something different each time I do watch the games and they’re good background noise if I’m doing something else.
Last years Eagles game will never be rewatched. There is no point. The brain plays a lot of what if tricks. Like my brain says a lot of our serious injuries have come as the result of a missed call, penalty/non-penalty that wasn’t reviewed etc… and the Purdy one is huge.
He goes down, the Defense absolutely loses their composure. JJ gets hurt and there’s no pass game, Kyles runs don’t work without a complementary passing game. Penalties pile up and the team does lots of Raiders things. Nope never watching that again.
I don’t watch highlights if we lose. If we win I watch each one like 5 times, lol.
I never ever watch highlights after a loss. Not by rule or anything. I just… don’t. It’s too tough. I’ve never watched a single highlight of any of the NFCCG or SB losses especially.
I’m with you. They lose and I’m out. Especially playoff games. It’s just extra depressing for me … so nah
I can’t tell you how many times between January 1991 and opening day of 1991, I watched the NFCCG vs the Giants in the famous 3peat game…
Just agonizing over every little what if in that game…it wasn’t healthy 😂
I’m STILL not over that btw and it was 33 years ago!
It’s burned into our core memories! lol
I mean what is there to watch. Once Purdy went down the rest was just chaos
