I’ll give you a few stats that show the ways in which we’re winning is far from unsustainable - we’re not going on 3pt shooting streaks that other teams catch fire and eventually regress to the mean after a few games, or getting lucky with a soft schedule, etc.

-2nd in FTA’s

-4th best DEF rebounding % , which could even improve when Wendell gets back

-2nd in steals and 11th in blocks

-2nd in opponent 2nd chance points

Being 12-4 despite averaging the 3rd fewest 3PA and 4th highest Turnover % is nothing short of impressive - we have the 3rd best Net rating in the NBA despite these offensive limitations so far this season. Don’t think we’ll finish the season turning over the ball that many times.

Getting Fultz back should be huge, I don’t believe Black is ready to start quite yet - his offense looks raw so far. Franz isn’t as efficient from 3 as he was last year, and all of us believe that will only improve too.

There’s no reason to believe Paolo will continue to shoot 65.1% on his FTS either. Look for that to slowly climb to the mid 70’s as the season progresses (He’s shooting 43% from 3!).

thots?

Last year the kings went from something like a 15 year playoff drought to 3rd seed in the west. I know the two teams are pretty different but I just wa to say it can be done

I don’t think it is realistic. Optimistic, yes. I think realistic is avoiding the play-in.
