I mean ideally you want all the 3 areas to be addressed as Lakers need improvement in each one of them but lets be realistic that they aren’t gonna be able to cover all the three. So would have to prioritize one or at max two and hope the other improves internally.

If thats the case what do you guys reckon is the biggest priority?

I think we have more holes than we can fix in one deadline with only 1 pick, so I’ll rank them

    1) Rim protecting / lob threat center - Allows AD to roam, less taxing so he can get to the playoffs in optimal shape because without AD at his peak we’re dead in the water anyways

    2) Offensive Weapon - Dlo/Reaves are redundant. Reaves was a solid 3rd option in the post season last year, but it wasn’t enough to offset AD’s offensive decline. Reaves would be sufficient as a 3rd option if Lebron/AD were scoring like 2020/2021, but AD isn’t.

    3) 3&D Wing - Ranked last because MAYBE we can make it work with Vando/Reddish, but right now they’re not as reliable as guys like KCP or DFS at the wing. Vando got played off because of offense and Reddish has a small sample size. We have options in those 2, so we have something there, but it’s just not super reliable.

      I’d prefer Haliburton and Turner.

I like to think about it this way, if you are proposing a trade that is unlikely, at least go after the big fish.
