Might be a stupid question, but our IT team provided a public RSA key related to a file transfer we’re getting from an outside company (who is sending it via SFTP).
The outside company provided a username and host name (there is no password). Our IT team provided the public RSA key and was told that the RSA key would be the password.
However, I keep getting an access denied note. Do I do anything with the public RSA key provided (i.e. add it to the system first somehow)?
This stuff is over my head so any help would be appreciated.
