New player mm has been completely fucked for years. They place new accounts with people who are top 15% players. You absolutely should get stomped in this elo if you’re truly new to the game. Not sure why new players don’t default to silver elo. Even that would be a challenge if you’re new.
it did give me silver, but its putting me vs plats/emeralds/golds. I did get some S tier games while i was quickplaying, that mightve affected it
It’s not really about your visible rank … You have a hidden match making rating that affects the games you’re placed in. When you start a new account your rating defaults to Emerald/Plat even if you’re in silver.
