I have just started watching the family chantel and I believe the reason their marriage fell apart is because Chantel doesn’t hold herself to the same standards that she holds Pedro to. I was beyond disgusted when she took the money out of the account when Pedro moved out. He doesnt have any family in the US so she basically left him completely helpless. If Pedro did the same to her she would be fine because she has a family who she can run to and get food and shelter. He doesnt. She always holds it over his head that he isnt a citizen which is disgusting. Her family pretty much always takes her side no matter what. Even when shes wrong. Her mother is overbearing and dramatic and the father is a push over. Chantel wants the same relationship with Pedro that was modeled by her parents. Where she is the princess and her husband is the servant. The issue of her coming home and cleaning up was so petty because she was home 4 days a week. Why would you not clean up and cook. I can understand the first 2 days but all 4 days is completely lazy. Chantel is spoiled, entitled, and a bitch to say the least. Her family is toxic and live through her. She played victim the whole time when truthfully pedro was the real victim. I do not believe he married her for citizenship. Chantel is absolutely stunning and brilliant and i think thats what he wanted from her. She was never capable of supporting him emotionally and even when she would cry it was always so fake. It’s obvious that she lacks compassion and empathy. She’s a liar, manipulative, and vengeful. I believe pedro flipped because of her behavior from day 1. I believe hes a pure heart with pure intentions dealing with an difficult women.

Obviously its a reality tv show so who knows what goes on in their actual lives. Im just commentating based of the storyline in the show. I fully acknowledge that i do not have a personal relationship with any member on the show.
