2005 Mazda b3000 misfire

I just bought a 2005 Mazda b3000, 3.0 V6 with 129k miles, check engine light comes on, took it to two auto parts dealers to run code on Eng light, (I went to two to see if they came up with the same codes) codes are: P0304 cyl 4 misfire, And P0316 misfire on startup first 1k revolutions. This is the 2nd time I got the cyl 4 misfire code, so I swapped the # 4 and # 1 spark plugs, and reset the code to see if I get the same code if / when the check engine light come back and if the spark plug was the culprit. Plan on changing plugs and wires anyway, just wondering if I’m on the correct path. TIA
