Jefferson is finally back but how effective will he be in the most important weeks?
Kirk is gone, Dobbs seemed like a good backfill but now the coach is even questioning Dobbs starting position going forward. Dobbs throws on average 30ish targets since arriving in MN. Last night he threw 4 interceptions to the bears. Maybe he just needed a highly skilled WR like Jefferson to open up the field but still worth noting.
Addison, the backfill to Jefferson hasn’t really had a great fantasy stat line since Dobbs has arrived, posting less than 10 points in PPR with an average of 7 targets per game.
Hockenson, the main benefactor since Dobbs has arrived has done pretty well.
Obviously, some of us owners would rather gamble on Jefferson than whichever backfill you’ve been using. Those of you who have Jefferson, how are you ranking him? Is he on par with Olave, Wilson, or is he better/worse? Any concerns with Dobbs/target share/target quality? Vikings playoff chances making you nervous they might call it quits early or maybe his contract situation?
Additional note: The last 2 years for Jefferson he has bent over the owners. 2021, 11.8 points. 2022, 2.5 points PPR.
TLDR: Dobbs is showing some concerns, any concerns with JJ and the target share/target quality?
You gotta be kidding me with this. No chance that JJ is worse than your 3rd, 4th, or 5th option at WR/Flex.
This sub hates actual discussion
Arguably the best wide receiver in football? Yeah he plays. He’ll create opportunities. Discussion pretty much ends there
