I’ve seen people do stuff like go AFK for half of a whole match but only running out of spawn to prevent AFK kick and excuse it because “who cares its qp”.
Am I insane for thinking that bad behavior that purposefully detracts from the fun of 4 other people (9 if you include the enemy Team who arent getting a real match) isn’t excusable just because its not ranked?
Are OW2 players so brain rotted that they honestly think that the only thing that matters in this game is your rank? I dont think I see this mentality nearly as much in any other competitive game I play. It seems to be incredibly frequent in OW to be an asshole, throw a game, and write “its just qp” as if thats some sort of gotcha.

Because there are no stakes so it’s not actually hurting anyone or holding them back from ranking up, therefore a lot of people use that fact to take the game less seriously and relax.
Problem is a lot of people use QP to warm up and practice new characters or ideas without risking it in ranked.
So essentially it’s boils down to QP holding a different purposes in peoples routines
Bc they are babies who don’t want to take responsibility for not just a lack of skill but a lack of effort as well. 🤷♀️
All I gotta say, is if you want serious games where everyone puts their all in it. That you should just play comp.
Cuz people play qp to relax and not having to stress so much if they have to do something during their game. Yeah it sucks, but in qp it can happen
