I’m using an S23+, but I have had the same problem with other phones.

When I dictate text using the mic button on the keyboard, I say punctuation, like “period.” Sometimes, the phone will insert a period (.), and sometimes it inserts the word “period”. Sometimes it inserts one and switches to the other! It seems completely unpredictable.

What am I missing to get what I want?
