127k on the engine. CE light came on a while ago, pulled the code P0445, was told I needed a new gas cap. Replaced that, light was still on for a few months so I took it to the shop and they smoked it and said i need new evap canister. Disconnected my battery to do some maintenance and the light stayed off for about 2 months. Just popped back on so I had it read at Autozone. Showing same code. Anyone run into this before? Was it actually evaporator cannister? Looking to get a used one and replace myself.
