Obviously, the owners would be really pissed because players leave the NBA for LeBron‘s league, but I feel like he has enough money and power to accomplish something like that albeit perhaps in a bubble- like setting rather than in different cities around the continent
He wouldn’t do it, just like the Saudis aren’t gonna create an alternative NBA. They’re gonna look to gain power within the already established top basketball league. That’s smart money.
